Introducing Beer Land: Craft Beer Bar Oasis

At Wonderland, we’re always looking for ways to bring more variety in – to take it beyond just the music and turn the day into a memorable experience. We’ve filled you in on our brand new, dark club arena Wasteland, and now it’s time to unveil the next surprise…and it’s one that’s sure to have you ‘froth’-ing!

2016 will see the introduction of “Beer Land” an oasis of craft beer bars offering handcrafted brews, within the grounds of Wonderland. In keeping with Wonderland’s emphasis on supporting local enterprise, Beer Land will feature four of our finest Perth-born craft beer breweries – Feral, Monteiths, Matilda Bay and Gage Roads – serving dozens of excellent artisanal selections on tap.

Beer Land is a celebration of craft brew culture, and will be a lively addition to add some variety to the day’s proceedings. Grab a cold one to take the edge off a warm summers’ day!

There will be plenty of seating available at BeerLand so you can escape the crowds and sit back to enjoy a good conversation with a few pints and pals under the shade of the pine trees.

Feral Brewing Beer

From Single Fin, to Narrow Neck, and Breakwater, this Fremantle based brewing company are a W.A. favourite, and they’ll be serving us their mighty selection on tap at Wonderland. You can’t go past their latest brew, the passionfruit and guava infused Little Dove, the winner of Champion Beer at the 2016 Australian Internationa Beer Awards. Watch the video above to prep you for the awesomeoness of the Gage Roads Beer Land Experience.

Fremantle based microbrewer Matilda Bay comes with a rich history – the first new brewery opened in Australia since World War II and Australia’s first craft brewery. From the German style Redback wheat beer to the fruity aroma of their Fat Yak golden APA, there’s a variety of Bay brews to sink.

With over 150 years brewing experience, Monteith’s Brewing Company is the top dawg of the New Zealand craft beer market. All their ciders and beers are hand crafted in small batches to develop the full natural flavours – you’ve no doubt tried their delicious cider, made with New Zealand apples. We’re looking forward to downing this, along with their IPAs, Pale Ales and Pilsners, at Beer Land.

Feral, based in the Swan Valley, have liberated Lager form the shackles of the mainstream breweries, and returned it to the people of Perth! You’re going to love the Feral crews beers – ambitious brews brimming with character and complexity. Make sure you try the Perth Local (4.9%) at Wonderland – overflowing with new world hops and intense, crisp flavour, it’s the perfect companion to the Perth summer sunshine.
